I like art (like the viral)

Art is an important tool of expression, and not only to express emotions but also to generate debate based on them. Many works of art have generated changes in society in some way.
For me, the art it's a tool by which to communicate whatever you want to say. To make a social criticism or simply vent.

The art is something inherent to the human being. Nobody can escape from him. The human being needs to express himself. From his mind and his heart. Art is the one who deals with this, and this is why I enjoy it very much.

When I was little I was very interested in art, in all its forms. I was also interested in artists. I admired that someone had the power to express themselves in different ways. I always felt a call to create. And I also took refuge in that when I felt very bad, or very well.

Art evolved with me. That's why I want to be a filmmaker, dedicate myself to art.
My favorite artist and filmmaker is Wong Kar-wai, for his way of telling stories and doing audiovisual works of art.

My summer in a photo

Last summer I traveled for the south of Chile backpacking, and I took this picture while I was on the bus by the region of the Araucanía. I do not remember which village I was going to, but I remember I was very happy in the bus because the southern climate puts me that way.
And well, not only for the climate, but also because I have the opportunity to travel backpacking with a very nice company, my girlfriend<3.

This photo brings me very good memories of the whole trip. Cold days... bus trips... teacups... and long conversations... I was meet new people, places, ways of seeing and living life, that made me grow a lot.

In the photo you can see a cold day with fog and a green landscape.
When I look at this picture the colors calm me down, they look very harmonious together.

I hope this summer, I will have the opportunity again to travel, and this time visit the north of Chile.

It would be great to take many photos that remind me the whole experience of the trip, like this one:

Mom, I want to be a filmmaker

When I was little they used to ask me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I liked to sing, music and -of course- the show and lights, so I always answered that I wanted to be a singer. I wanted to have fans and travel the world, meet all kinds of cultures and people through music.
Growing up, I realized that although my passion for music continued, there was a much deeper passion, and that was inventing stories. At first I thought I wanted to be a cartoonist, since I liked to draw and make comics, but over time I discovered that my true passion was always cinema. I never thought about being a filmmaker before, I cut my wings myself when thinking that making movies was something very far away.

When I was 16 years old, I remember that I started watching movies almost every day, I was passionate about them. In a notebook I wrote scripts and stories that he wanted to film. And that's when I decided. I wanted to be a filmmaker. Since then I prepared to give a good P.S.U. and study film at the University of Chile.

With the results in hand, it was time to apply to the University... I postulated to my priority, and postulated to the other options, were also cinema but in different universities. After days the results arrived. I was not inside the selection. My world came down and I felt that I had missed the opportunity to become a filmmaker :(

I was inside in the selection of other university, but I really wanted to study at the U. de Chile, so my parents gave me a second chance and I prepared the P.S.U. for second time.
After the same process and a very long and exhausting year, this time I was inside the selection of U. de Chile. I was very happy. Really very happy. He had achieved it. I was going to study what I was passionate about at last.

The first day of university was an experience I will never forget. That first day of classes with classmates who had the same dreams as me. I meet people who had the same goals. The days went by and although it was harder than I imagined, I felt a great satisfaction to study what I liked so much.

Until now that I am in my fourth year I have had good and bad times, but I have confirmed that it is what I really want to do all my life. I really like the direction of actors and write scripts.
In the future I would like to work in an independent production company, be a director and make films that show sexual diversity.
Also, I would love to be a film teacher at the University of Chile, to teaching future filmmaker.

I leave you a ridiculous photo

God bless the cameras

The camera is a piece of technology that is used to capture images, which we know as photographs. For capture images, it uses a mechanism complicated to explain but the important thing is to know that a camera does the same thing that our eyes do, it takes care of receiving the rays of light from the outside and transforms them into an image. The rays of light enter the camera through the lens that is responsible for grouping them in a single point and depending on the distance to which the object is located, the resulting image will have a different size: it will be smaller or larger.

The first camera I had was given to me by my dad, in fact, I inherited it from him. I had 12 years old when he gives to me a little analogic camera, and from that moment began my love for photography.
The camera I use now is a Nikon d5200, anyway, I still use occasionally my old camera.

I use the camera very often for take photos of all kinds of things, like a photos of my friends, landscapes, travels, and any moment I want to register in a photo.

I like it because I can capture moments on paper or in digital and give them an artistic value.
The truth is that I prefer the analogue photo because it has a different texture, much more homemade and imperfect, and that for me has a greater value, like doing something by hand.

Life would be very sad without cameras and photos, there would be no memories captured, there would be no family photos of the past, there would be no iconic and beautiful images, there would be no history.
Anyway, good thing if they exist and I can have one :)

a little bit of me

Hello Hello

I'm going to start presenting myself, so they know who I am!
My name is Fernanda Téllez Gross, but most of the time I have known myself as feña or nandi. I was born on January 7 of the year 1997 in Santiago, Chile. I am Capricorn. I am a fourth year student of Film and TV at the University of Chile.
I am the youngest of 3 brothers, the only one who lives with my parents - a kind of only daughter - because my brothers are already responsible adults - hahaha - and they already have their own lives and families.
Sometimes we meet for lunch and have a great time remembering the past and also generating new memories!

This year, the same day of my birthday the family grew and my niece Paz was born.
Really, going to see her and take care of her has become a panorama that I really enjoy! I love her so much!.
Well, that's not all hahaha I also enjoy taking pictures, recording homemade videos with my friends, playing guitar and going out partying, among other things.
But one of the things that I like the most is writing, in fact, I am currently writing two scripts of projects that I want to get done, and in that I have been putting my energies, thoughts and time!
It's exhausting, but I really love it.

Every day I reaffirm that I love what I am studying and what I am going to dedicate myself to.
In the future I would like to travel to many countries. Go to film festivals and of course, present a movie made by me.

:)

I leave this picture of when I was a child because awww.
